Who we are

We are Anna and Yiannis, child psychologists, MSc, and we are the owners and clinical directors of Autism Therapy in The Netherlands. Welcome to our practice!

We can’t promise you that we will wave a magic wand and solve all of your child’s problems at once. But we can promise you three things:

  1. We exclusively use research-supported interventions that have proven to be effective after years of research.

  2. All of our clients so far have seen significant improvements in their language, social skills, and daily functioning.

  3. We are constantly measuring the effectiveness of our programs, so you can determine for yourself the extent of progress of your child.

Our work is dedicated to supporting families with children with autism, developmental delays, language delays, and other challenges. Our aim is to help your child acquire social, emotional, and daily living skills, develop expressive and receptive language, manage frustration and anxiety, and ultimately become independent and happy. With more than 7 years of experience, we bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and specialisation to our practice. You can expect no less than quality care, compassion, and effectiveness from us.

We hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in psychology, mental health, and clinical child and adolescent psychopathology. We have received years of training in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Today’s Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy)*, Mindfulness-based Therapy, and more.

We are certified by leading dutch and international certification bodies, such as Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT®) Certification Program, Stichting Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd (SKJ), Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP), and Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®).

Our values are the cornerstone of our practice and constantly guide our actions. These include effectiveness, compassion, respect, quality, inclusion, and professionalism. We take pride in being trustworthy, ethical, responsible, and goal-oriented.

If you feel that our approach and values align with your family’s needs, or if you have any questions, please feel free to book a free online consultation to get in touch with us.

* ABA Therapy may be considered in a child’s care plan only if explicitly requested by the family or the municipality
