Scientific research and clinical experience have shown that a child's behaviour, emotions, and cognition are influenced by their surroundings, such as settings, adults, peers, life events, and other factors. Arguably, the most crucial among these is the family.

In our therapy sessions, we always make sure to involve the child’s significant others. This approach helps create a collaborative treatment plan, involves the family in decision-making, provides parents and caregiver with tools to support the child’s progress, and effectively addresses undesirable behaviour. Sometimes, families and our child psychologists may decide to focus exclusively on parent consultation and training, without direct therapy for the child.

Ultimately, our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary, as we aim to equip the child with meaningful skills to become independent and happy. At the same time, we strive to provide the family with the tools necessary to address future challenges effectively.

Our team consists of child psychologists and behavior therapists with Master’s degrees, extensive training, and certifications from leading Dutch and international boards. We offer Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT), comprehensive parent training, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)*, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

We offer treatment at our Center in Leiden, as well as ambulatory services in Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam, Dordrecht, Zoetermeer, Delft, and surrounding areas.
